"People need people."
Group work can do something individual therapy can't quite replicate. Sitting with people who have had the same thoughts you have been afraid to say out loud is often where the shame starts to loosen. All of our groups meet virtually and are open to anyone located in Illinois or Indiana.

ERP Essentials: Live Beyond Fear
An 8-week virtual program for adults with OCD
Most people with OCD have heard that Exposure and Response Prevention is the treatment that works. What's so much harder to find is a place to actually learn it, practice it, and have someone in your corner while you do it.
That's exactly what these eight weeks are for. Together we'll look at how the OCD cycle keeps its grip, how ERP loosens it, and how to build exposures that fit your real life instead of a worksheet. We'll get into mental compulsions, response prevention, making room for uncertainty, learning to step back from your thoughts, and what to do when a flare shows up six months from now and catches you off guard.
If ERP is brand new to you, you're going to leave with a real foundation. If you already know the concepts inside and out but have never quite gotten traction with them, this is a place to finally put them to work. Both of you belong here, and I love having both in the room.
The same small group meets together all eight weeks, and I keep it capped at eight people on purpose. That matters more than it sounds like it should. You won't be re-explaining yourself each week, and by week three you'll know the people sitting with you. You're never asked to share the content of your obsessions. And nobody in this group gives reassurance, myself included, which I promise makes more sense once you're in it.

OCD Support Group
OCD can be such a lonely thing to carry. So much of it happens quietly, in your own head, in the middle of a workday or at 2 a.m. when everyone else is asleep. And when you try to explain it to someone who hasn't lived it, you can usually tell within about thirty seconds that it isn't landing.
Here, you don't have to explain.
This is a space to talk about what OCD threw at you since we last met, with people who already understand what you mean. Some weeks we might have a topic to get us started, and other weeks we'll just follow wherever the group needs to go. There's no curriculum, no homework, and nothing you need to prepare.
You're welcome whether you're deep in treatment, thinking about starting, or not sure what your next step is. You don't need a diagnosis, and you don't need to have it figured out. You just need to want to be around people who get it.
We meet virtually every other Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Central (7:00 p.m. Eastern), starting September 15. Open to adults located in Illinois or Indiana. $20 per group.
To join, fill out the contact form below, and we'll set up a time to connect so we can answer your questions and get you the paperwork if you decide to move forward. No commitment to reach out.
Please note: Starting Thursday, October 8, we’ll also be offering a lunchtime group at 12:00 p.m. Central (1:00 p.m. Eastern) on the Thursdays of the weeks we don't meet on Tuesday. Come to whichever time works best, or come to both. It's the same group, just two doors in.
